Everyone has a unique style of communication. In this session, participants will learn to understand their own style and to identify the styles of others. Awareness is the starting point. We will also explore how to adjust your style in order to enable more effective communication and improve work relationships
Having Difficult Conversations
Every one of us has a conversation we are dreading. We ignore it. We put it off. We keep wishing and hoping that the issue will go away or magically resolve itself. Often, all that time does in these situations is make the issue appear bigger and even harder to work through.What if you could build your courage to have the conversations you need to have? What would be different? Well, your internal worry would lighter or non-existent. And quite possibly the relationships in your life would be better too.In this session, participants will be introduced to a simple conversation framework that helps us tackle the conversations we keep putting off. At the end of the session, participants will leave knowing some steps they can take to say ‘what needs to be said’ in an effective and supportive way.
